Custom Engraving

Personalize your Brunton with your name, a special message, an award or event, or even a logo.  Some geologists have their phone number engraved on their transit to help it return home if lost in the field.  With Brunton's in-house laser engraving, your product can be as unique as you want it to be - within the bounds of our available space!  Our team will work with to ensure the best fit and layout.

  • Allow 5 extra business days for engraving.
  • Review your spelling, as we are not responsible for mis-entered requests.
  • Engraved items cannot be returned, with the exception of manufacturer defect with the product.
  • Requests for profane or objectionable words or phrases will not be honored.
  • Engraving on 1 side and location only.

Engraving is only available with the simultaneous purchase of an engravable product:

  • Metal-bodied transits (Axis, Geo, Standard) - up to 30 characters total on 2 lines
  • Vintage compasses (1894 DW Brunton, Teton Topo) - limited space, less than 1" diameter engravable area

Engravable product is not included - you must also add an eligible product to your cart!  If trying to purchase and engrave more than one item, please place a separate order (product + engraving) for each.
