Brunton Pro shoots the lights out in Vegas
Jesse writes: "The Las Vegas tournament has been an exciting tournament for me the last few years. The first time I ever went was in 2001. I went into that tournament, not having any idea how the shoot was run, or how the shoot off worked. I ended up shooting pretty good, and made the shoot off, with Mike Anderson, and he edged me out. I was mad about losing that shoot off, until I figured out just how few archers ever make that shoot off. So, I went back the next year, knowing how it was run this time, and ended up making the shoot off again. Well, that felt really good, just to make the shoot off two years in a row, but I still wanted that win, and it just wouldn't happen, so, I just said to myself, if I can just keep making it to the shoot off, sooner, or later, I gotta win that thing. Well, I made it again the next year, three in a row, but got edged out again. In 2004, I missed the shoot off, by one ten ring. Made it in 2005, again, but still no luck, on winning........ By this time, I was getting used to the shoot offs, and I was figuring out what I needed to do in them. So, this year, I put a lot of time in, practicing in a way I thought would help in a shoot off, and boy did it pay off! When I made it there this year, I knew before we even started, that my chances were pretty good on winning, and I did. I just had a gut feeling about it. I had all the confidence in the world, and that's what it takes, confidence in yourself, and your equipment. I can not even explain in words what it felt like to win that shoot, after I had been so close, so many times before. It took a few days to actually sink in, that I had actually won. And it would be nice if every archer out there, could experience that feeling.

Some of my other accomplishments include........ 5 time national champion/ world champion/ Pittsburgh win/ Lancaster win/ Mustang shoot off winner

Good optics are a must when competing, or hunting, like I do. And Brunton has never let me down, in any way. They really are top notch!"
